Escape Rooms work incredibly well at Conventions, especially as part of the entry fee. This is a real value add that makes the customer really feel like they are getting something for their time and money. Great entertainment, hands on, stuff you can DO!
Pricing:
We have a Flat charge £300 per day in the Eastbourne/Brighton Area. IF there is significant travel or overnight accomodation cost, that would be added to our fee.
Prizes and Stuff:
Typically we reward those completing our Escape Rooms with sweets and an opportunity to have a team photo on our facebook page!
How it Works:
We can manage “about 30 people” at a time, each “Escape Room” works for an individual puzzler to solve, or a team of up to 6 comfortably. Larger groups of more than 6 good friends could go together, but only so many can get round a table and interact at the same time, so they’d need to get on well. Given that we know we can entertain at least 5 teams, of up to 6 in a team, that gives us the “about 30 people”. We would recommend 4ish per team ideally.
We recommend ages 12+
The Games are expected to take a team about an hour. We also have a host of stand alone games and puzzles available. This is a separate table we set up with noughts and crosses and other stand alone games and puzzles. This area is kind of the over flow and warm up zone if lots of teams turn up at once and we need to keep them busy while we’re sorting out a team to start.
Once the hour is up, or an Escape Room is solved it’s “everyone out” and then we reset everything, ready for a new team. This can take about 15 minutes in busy periods if we are running muiltiple rooms at once, but is less onnerous if teams turn up sporadically through the day. We would then be ready to go again with another 30 customers, rinse and repeat all through the event!
What do you need to provide?
All we usually need from you is about 6 largish 1m*2m Tables preferably in a single area, large enough for 30ish people. Optionally a power point for a projector can be advantageous.
