Escape Rooms as part of a pubs regular event slot is bound to please. We can offer a couple of options as a guide, but can work with you for specific requirements.
Pricing:
Usually we do it one of two ways:
1] Flat charge £200, then you charge customers that are booked in. EG. £10 a person or £30 a team.
2] You give us the space and advertise it, we’ll charge the customers directly on the above basis and you take the drinks 🙂
3] Perhaps you have a third option or suggestion?
Timing:
We would recommend a monthly rotation, then people will come back to do the “next one” as they won’t have time to do all our Escape rooms in one night!
This works well for the quiz evening people, but also the younger crowd love escape rooms and won’t mind getting it cheaper than the usual £25+ charges elsewhere. Especially if they can get a whole team in for £30!
Special Options:
If you want to put anything in the “final box” as a prize for each escape room, we can arrange that. EG. Fliers promoting your next event, drinks or food voucher, packet of peanuts…. any little prize or promotion you’d like to include.
How it Works in an Evening:
We can manage “about 30 people” at a time, each “Escape Room” works for an individual puzzler to solve, or a team of up to 6 comfortably. Larger groups of more than 6 good friends could go together, but only so many can get round a table and interact at the same time, so they’d need to get on well. Given that we know we can entertain at least 5 teams, of up to 6 in a team, that gives us the “about 30 people”. We would recommend 4ish per team ideally.
We recommend ages 12+
The Games are expected to take a team about an hour. Those that finish faster can get “their money’s worth” on the stand alone games and puzzles table. This is a separate table we set up with noughts and crosses and other stand alone games and puzzles. This area is kind of the over flow and warm up zone if lots of teams turn up at once and we need to keep them busy while we’re sorting out a team to start.
Once the hour is up “everyone out” and then reset everything. This can take about 15 minutes. We would then be ready to go again with another 30 customers, rinse and repeat all night!
Often, booked time slot’s are a good idea. EG 7:30, 8:45, 10-11pm.
What do you need to provide?
All we usually need from you is about 6 largish 1m*2m Tables preferably in a single room, large enough for 30ish people. And of course a good push at advertising, to get around 30+ people arranged in time slots through the night. (See the photos above).
